Alexander's Uniforms is a family owned and operated uniform company. In business since 1945, our three retail locations offer Southeastern New England's largest in store selections. Our on-site sales program works with hospitals, nursing homes, and medical office buildings from Maine through Pennsylvania. Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience, allowing us to outfit you, your business, or school in any healthcare, hospitality, chefwear, industrial, restaurant or professional apparel.

STORE POLICIES

Returns:
30 day limit on refunds (from the date the item is received). Items must remain intact with original tickets (all shoes unworn and in original box) and receipt. After 30 days, items in above condition may be returned for credit with original receipt.

Back Orders:
You will be informed, VIA e-mail or phone if there is an outstanding back order for an item purchased, and the date the item will be available to ship to you with the expected arrival date. Any back orders may be cancelled and refunded before the ship date except for personalized items( i.e. embroidery, screens).

Special Orders:
Same procedure as back order, however, if item on special order is NOT available, than a full refund will be issued for that special ordered item.

Shipping:
UPS or USPS shipped to your home or facility * This is usually for on site sales.

Thank you for taking a moment to read about our on-site uniform fairs or "lobby sales" as they are sometimes known.

We set up our wares in a room in your facility, for an agreed upon time period. Nurses and other employees are able to browse and shop whenever in their day they find it most convenient. Payment methods range from cash/check/charge to payroll deduction where the service is available. Alexander's Uniforms also offers our own (payment deferral) system wherein the customer authorizes us to debit their checking account for the four weeks following the fair.

Selection

Largest on site selection in the industry. Full selection of sizes (XS-5X) of tops (prints and solids), pants, jackets, skirts, lab coats from Barco, Landau, Cherokee, White Swan, Dickies and others. Shoes: Dozens of styles in a complete range of styles from Dansko, Cherokee Rockers, Klogs USA, Nursemates, and New Balance. Accessories such as stethoscopes, socks, and blood pressure cuffs. We always bring a selection of 50%-off items.

Convenience

Employees shop when they wish to, right at work! Usually possible to try on first, to ensure proper fit. We can arrange to have an early start time and late closing time to allow all shifts the chance to participate.

Service/Support

Always knowledgeable sales people present to help find the right item. If for some reason we're out of your size or favorite style, we'll order it for you, or pull it from one of our stores, and deliver it right to your workplace at no extra cost!

Discount/Donation

This is entirely at the discretion of the hosting facility. Alexander's Uniforms will discount all prices up to 20% off. Facilities that opt for a commission of sales reduce the employee discount.

Payment

Cash, check, and all credit cards accepted. Payroll deduction is an exceptional benefit for employees, and in most cases will have a profound effect on the sales results. As an alternative to payroll deduction, we offer our own payment deferment system whereby the customer authorizes us to debit their checking account in four weekly installments. While not quite as successful, this has become a viable alternative to payroll deduction.

Appearance

Alexander's is committed to maintaining a neat, professional appearance at our uniform shows. Uniform tables and shoe racks are continually being straightened out. Refuse is never left lying about, avoiding clutter. Based upon feedback received from our many customers, it is a fact that Alexander's Uniforms conducts the best, most successful on site sales in this industry. Almost 100% of our sales have set gross revenue records, keeping us a step ahead of other vendors.
